Bendix King radio set. For FS2004 and FSX including NAV-COM KX-155 (1&2), KR-87 ADF, KN-62 and KN-63 DME (to give the choice) , KT-76C XPNDR , KMA- 24 Audio-Selector. The main idea was to replace the common appliances proposed in several default (Cessna, Baron, ... ) or third party aircrafts by something esthetically more realistic but without any useless sophistication.

Some other appliances can be added or replaced in the rack :
- KAP-140 autopilot : already available as fp_k_140.zip since october 2008
- XPNDR KT-76A : available soon
- Audio selectors KMA24H, KMA-28 and KMA-134 with OMI K-40 : available soon

=======================================================================================================================
Installation :

Unzip the "FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King.cab" file in the general gauges folder of FSX or FS2004

=======================================================================================================================
Settings in the panel.cfg file :

Just replace the mention " Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio * " (or any other equivalent radio) by " FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King! * " for each appliance you want to use (don't forget the "!" mark) - see appellation here below. Maybe you will have to adjust the width (also the height) I propose the following ratios - width/height (around) :

KMA24_Aud_Sel : 5.0
KX155_ComNav# : 3.1
KT76c_XPNDR : 3.7
KR87_adf : 4.6
KN62_DME : 4.9
KN63_DME : 3.0

The gauge " FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!Prot_Plate" allows you to hide the possible zones to be hidden. Set this element beneath (maybe also above) the rack and adjust its height.

Example for the default C172 FS2004 (pop up) :

[Window01]
BACKGROUND_COLOR=2,2,2
size_mm=156,308
position=8
visible=0
ident=RADIO_STACK_PANEL

gauge00=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!KMA24_Aud_Sel, 1, 0,154,30
gauge01=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!KX155_comnav1, 0, 28,156,50
gauge02=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!KX155_comnav2, 0, 75,156,50
gauge03=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!KR87_adf, 0,123,155,34
gauge04=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!KN62_DME, 2,157,152,30
gauge05=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!KT76c_XPNDR, 0,186,157,42
gauge06=KAP_140!KAP_140, 0,226,155,40
gauge07=FP_Radio_Set_Bendix_King!Prot_Plate, 0,267,156,30

To fully take advantage of the COM stand-by frequencies please verify/write the following settings in the aircraft.cfg file :

[Radios]
// Radio Type = availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1 = 1
Com.1 = 1, 1
Com.2 = 1, 1
Nav.1 = 1, 1, 1
Nav.2 = 1, 1, 0
Adf.1 = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1 = 1
